i put my old hard drive from the last computer into my new desktop. it has windows vista still installed on it. i wanted to be able to retrieve data from it if i ever needed to. plus there is a considerable amount of space left in it. i have wondered several times if i did open it to get something, or if i wanted to add new data, if there would be a problem. if so, should i try to remove the windows vista program in that drive? i know that now its just a secondary drive, so it does not need an operating system on it. what i do not know is if the two would clash. i can not imagine there would be any files or folders in vista that would be beneficial to windows 10. by deleting that program, it would free up 25gb of space. i just do not know it that would be a wise choice.
