Does windows xp come with burning software in it? If so how do I access it?

I used it once....a ways back. I think you just open the blank disc and drag n drop then it opens.
Why use when FREE software is available that is better.

right click your file, click send to, your cd burner will be there as an option.

Well the pc is on dial up, so any free download will take some time.

Just as easy to use. I moved on from Nero after I bought my DVD burner and installed "Nero Express". I was dissappointed. I could of rolled back but CDburnerXP filled the need.

So it does work with dvd burning as well? Even dual layer discs?

Yes, burns DVDs. DL support will be in the next version.
