It's most likely a software problem, so the motherboard specs won't matter to this problem.
anyway, have you got your XP disk there, and your serial? (BTW don't tell us what the serial is)

no, it's just a set of numbers and letters you'll get with every copy of XP. it is different on every copy. it's just to try and reduce piracy

Crap... then I probably don't have it. All I have from my XP stuff is my hard disk and the activation thing incase I get a new comp and I want to put it on there.
