Considering that SATA is newer than Win98, i dont even think they have drivers for SSD's. Heck even USB 1.1 was newer. yeah i dont think this would turn out well at all...

Oh no it works pretty well. Thing is though, 98 does so much read/write to the same cells that it literally kills SSD's pretty quickly. I figured an hour of 98 for S&Ls would be ok.....I'm sadly mistaken. I have random freezes on my main machine ever since I installed 98 to my SSD. Oh yea, it was pretty slow too cause the machine itself couldn't handle a drive that fast lol.
