Windows 98 OS Installation

HELP!!
I am working on a system that requires help. Here is the situation.
I have a machine that initially had win 98. I then upgraded the system to win 2000. Since things were not working, i used "kill disk" to format the drive.
I then inserted the windows 98 start up disk and now i get a message "OS load in progress" and it just hangs there. nothing happens. what do i do to have windows 98 back on my system?

Why didn't you format the drive through dos?WTF is kill disk anyways?

uhm why didn't you just do the boot from cd thing and then use partition manager thats on the win2000 cd? kill disk sure seems like it lived up to its name huh?

Get a new bootdisk from www.bootdisk.com and try again.
