windows 98 fresh install on laptop

Hey Guys,

I am trying to install win98 on a laptop with only one bay. It has a floppy OR a CD but not both at the same time. Win98 comes with the boot disc on 3.5in floppy and the rest of the program on the CD. Has anyone had to deal with this?? Help!! I have already reformatted the hard drive so I'm back to using the Win98 boot disc.

If you have a CD Burner somewhere you can burn the files on the floppy onto a CD.

yea just use another computer and make a cdrom boot disk, ive had to do it before

You boot in your floopy then remove it and put in your cd drive..
