I just bought a new EVGA 760GTX, upgraded from SLI'd 470's. Issue I am running into, is no audio AT ALL though HDMI (Card - HDMI & DVI-D through HDMI), or through onboard (Motherboad Biostar TA890FXE). I am running Windows 8.1 Pro.

I have downloaded new drivers for the 760, and performed a clean install. Nothing worked for the card. Figured I would use onboard for now and return the card later, thinking it was a bad card.

Went to use onboard through the motherboard, and nothing. I tried using windows troubleshooter and it shows the audio device was not enabled. Checked every device through device manager and everything is enabled. I tried "previewing" sound through sound manner and get "Failed to play test tone"

I can't figure it out! Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Resolved. Major driver issue, unistalled and all audio/graphics drivers from the system (Windows drivers too), and now Audio works just fine through all ports. Thread can be closed.
