Windows 7 search function

The "Search programs and files" when I click the windows start orb.

It never yields any results, no matter what I type (and never has since I installed 7).


Apparently this is a much loved feature of Windows 7, so how do I get this working?

It wont work if you turned off indexing.

Where do I check if I turned it off? / How do I turn it back on?

Start>Run>services.msc

Control Panel use the search feature there and type in Indexing.

Looks to me like everything is enabled as it should be?

What am I missing

Try rebuilding the Start Menu index.
