Windows 7 ?s (On Virtual PC)

I am wanting to make it so that Windows 7 on the Virtual PC that I have downloaded will share the files with my main operating system. How do I make them share files?

I went to settings on the Virtual PC and I found where you can share files but it says I need an addition and I have no idea what it's talking about.

What virtualisation software are you running? VMware, Virtual box etc.
