Curious, how well do you think it will perform on old hardware mak.... I have a OLD MSI K7n2 Delta-ILSR with a AMD Athlon 2400+ from the old Socket A days and a GB of DDR400.... Runs 2k8 just fine, runs vista great, I am just wondering, will it support and use the same drivers that vista/2k8 use, or will developers and hardware have to have totaly different drivers... Because I got lucky with my motherboard.... Vista actualy liked the xp RAID drivers....

My setup is a modified Dell dimension 8400. The main mods done were updated RAM to 3GB of all Dual channel stuff, replaced the vanilla 6800 with a 8600GT and replaced the PSU. Hack and slash job on the case to get it to mount but it works.

This machine runs a P4 3.4GHz northwood with HT.

while i dont see a problem with the CPU, the RAM.

While it does meet the requirements. I dont think that it will be that much of a improvement.

Yes it support the same drivers as Vista.
