Windows 7 doesnt load..

I have Windows 8 installed on an Acer Laptop E1-571 but im trying to install Windows 7 on the laptop instead.. I see the Press any key part but then just boots to windows 8?

Can anyone shed any light?

does the windows 7 cd boot if used in a different pc?

can you boot the problematic pc with a different cd?

Have you turned off Secure Boot and enabled legacy boot?

+1 and check the bios to see if the dvd drive is set as the first device in the boot order
