So, with the End of Support coming closer (January 14th, 2020), what does this mean for those still using it as their day-to-day OS?

In my case, I had to put in effort to bring my laptop from Windows 10, to Windows 7. (I don't really like Windows 10's UI) So, with that said, what exactly are decent alternatives?

On a side note, personally, I'm really gonna miss the Aero theme... :c

Yeah, I used Classic Shell back when I had to use Windows 8.1. It was really well built, but uhh.. Isn't that just for the Start Menu, really?

Also, wow. Just the name itself gave me flashbacks to when people had to get 3rd party Start Menus. Thanks for that, lol

I'd imagine I'd be able to find some way to make Windows 10 'tolerable', if I wanted to... (Like, even when it just came out, I was using Winaero Tweaker to trick out the title bar n stuff. Good times xd)

Seven won't likely die on Jan 14th 2020. Microsoft will stop support for the common folks but the corporate world can still use W7 and get security updates until 2023, but at an increasing cost.
I have a feeling that these security updates will be leaked out with the interwebs being what it is. The much larger issue you'll see from the end of support will be on the software side, Companies will stop making software designed to run on Windows 7, and Windows 7 will go the way of 98, W2K, and XP. (although there are approx 40 million xp pc's still in use)

But on another note.................
More people are still using W7 today (approx 40% ish?) than were using XP back then (29%) and their was so much of an issue with XP when that met E.O.L. that Microsoft had to over extend support. Next Jan will be interesting to say....

Edit: just looked up the market share of W7 and from 5-2018 to 4-2019. Windows 7 leads Windows 10 by .02% That can't be good for Microsoft with only 7 months to EOL of W7
