windows 7 32 or 64

Building a new system around an i7 920 and would like to know which OS would best fit me. I do a little bit of everything from graphics to games so whatever fits best is what I will get. Just did not know if I needed 64 bit to be more efficient on some things. I will have 8G or mem if I need it and the OS can use it.

I would say go 64-bit right away, since you would see benefit (if not much) during gaming and what not. Also you may need 64-bit for 8GB of memory if it's that what you meant by 8G.

If you are going to have 8GB then 64 Bit is the way to go. There is a way using PAE and 32 Bit but that is known to cause slow down. Last thing you would want to do with that type of system. Read teh FAQ thread. There is a site listed in there where you can check all the programs and versions you are running with the compatibility with Win7 64 bit.
