Default windows 2003

is windows 2003 server an actual operating system? is anyone here running it so i can see what it looks like? i'm thinking about getting it

Yes it is an actual operating system. And unless you just have to have the newest technology, I would wait for a price drop, I beta tested it and it is good stuff, but way over priced. And as far as looks go, add XP and 2000 together and what you get is 2003.

You could say I've been around.

haha yeh 'Guy' i would tend to agrea with you... win2k3 has the networking capabilities of win2k and the look of winxp.. haha but yah me and my stupid ways i bought win 2k3 but im satisfied with it and im running it on my 2.4 ghz 512ddr ram no problems... just i disabled all the server options and its bin runnen fine.

do you know the price of the'Enterprise' edition? it's like $8000 (aus)

ive tryed it, it looks like win2000 pro
but has some server options, i dont see whats so great about it
