Windows 2000 install after Windows XP

I searched the site and none of the results answered this question.

Has anyone installing Windows 2000 after Windows XP was installed and tried this fix to see if it works. Recently I had a bad experience using recovery console and fixmbr not working then
tried repair install but had .dll file error and couldn't close the
error message to continue with the repair install.
