Windows 2000 Diagnostic utility

Hi
I think the hard drive of my laptop is dying
The thing isthat it is a 2000 does it have the diagnostic utility?is it in F12 or where?

Start>My Computer>Right Click on Drive>Utilties>Check Disk.

I'd try using the Ultimate Boot CD. There's a very nice hard drive tested on there called Salvation, and it's very thorough. One thing to note however, is that it doesn't play friendly with SATA drives.
