Hello all. I've had Windows 10 installed for awhile now but keep having some issues where my system decides it wants to restart itself. I know this isn't due to windows update because I have disabled updates so it doesnt restart on that behalf. I checked out my event log and notice quite frequently that I keep getting this:
The process wininit.exe (127.0.0.1) has initiated the restart of computer DESKTOP-PIJ71VQ on behalf of user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM for the following reason: Legacy API shutdown
Reason Code: 0x80070000
Shutdown Type: restart

Does anyone know exactly what is causing it to shutdown? It's becoming a very big annoyance especially when I run my VM's.

Thank you!

I am not running Avast, I am running Avira. I went back and checked the logs again and it appears the Oracle VM Virtual Box is the program that's causing the PC to restart/shutdown. I have uninstalled the software and went to HyperV. I'll see if this will fix the problem from happening again.
