Default Windiows XP ICONS

I was trying to rename a folder, then the system told me the folder was in use by another person. i rebooted my pc and all of my icons were re-arranged and some were missing. then the system told me to take a tour on Xp, and I had a bunch of icons in my system tray. Does anybody know how this could of happened?

Ok problem, someone is using your computer (remotely)

or you probably meant another folder has the same name?

maybe , your XP was doing the unused desktop icons
and placed it in a folder?
