Wind Server 2003 Better then XP pro?

Alot of my friends started using Ms server 2003 and they say its better. Uses less memory therfore games run fas faster, much more stable.

Is any of u using it and if u do, do u like it? Is it acctually better?

I wouldnt recommend running any of the Server platforms on a machine that isnt used for a server..kind of pointless really and $$$$. I've used W2k3 server and is indeed a very nice platform..resembles the win2k server platform a great deal..I would stick with XP pro for gaming as you might run into compatibility issues with newer games and 2003 server.

As the name implies, its main purpose is for "Server" use and not as a client or a workstation plus as what win2kpatcher says, its a very expensive OS except of course if you wil use a pirated copy. I wouldnt use either if I were you, the fact that it is illegal, you will surely run out of problems.
Stick with your XP, its one of the best OS if you can fullt use its great features.

never use win server 2003 but i do think that win XP pro is stable.
i'v been using it for 2 years now and no problem. just my opinion.
