Win98SE Problem

Everytime i hit the GO button on Internet explorer my computer freezes. Im using win98SE. I tried looking through the Internet options and messing with my Video options. But nothing is working for me. What do you think would cause this and how can i fix it? - Mike

what other progams are you running?
just the explorer?
what type of cpu?
can you tell us more about your pc?

I would just go to microsoft and download IE 6.0 with the service packs.

Try updating/upgrading your browser. That may or may not help.

If you dont want to do a big download put in your windows disk and dont let it autostart.Then go to start,programs,accessories,system itools,system info,tools tab,System File checker,Scan for alterd files.It will then replace your screwed up files it might help Ive fixed a lot of problems this way.Good luck.Pat
