So, for one of my classes, i have to load xp pro and win98se on my virtual pc console.
I had 98se and xp pro both running fine until some dip$hit ran through the process on my laptop cause his was at the help desk getting ghosted. Now my 98se is all fd up, so i deleted it, and went through the process again.
Heres what i have done, and whats happening.
fdisk create logical drive.
format c
and then load win98se.
after the load is done, says needs to reboot now, so i reboot it, (not my pc, just the OS running inside the virtual console) when it boots back up, it runs through the begining and goes to the options to start win with cdrom support, no support, etc...
anyone know why? did i miss something this time.
I have loaded 98se on probably 100 computers, maybe im not thinking, or maybe something is odd with this console. I had to use a 98boot.vfd, but it should be past that stage shouldnt it.
suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
