If I buy an official complete installation disk of Windows 7, can I upgrade a computer that has XP Pro, and then later uninstall Win7 and reinstall it on another computer? Thanks

If you buy a Retail version of Windows I believe it can be activated TWICE. OEM can be activated ONCE.

It's been awhile since I checked so someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Do make sure to check and make sure your PC will support Win7 and know whitch bit version you need.

Retail Versions can be installed and activated on 3 different machines. But they first must be removed from the previous machine. There can only be 1 active install at any time.
