loaded win xp os and updates and mcafee and deep freeze server. Then added ghosting program. After that it won't shut down but it boots again ok when it's reset.

How do you even have room for all that? Damn, XP uses at least 6gb, with updates and such, you must not have sp2 installed. I would shut down either if I had all that on there. What you need to do is back track to when it **** down normally. The culprit might be one of the programs you installed.

NO, it only uses (including xp sp2) 4gb of HD space. Office is not needed because it will just be a deep freeze/ghost server.
