I just installed SR1 for Win XP Pro on two computers. Since then, I have had problems getting pages to load in Internet Explorer and other problems getting graphics to appear normally. I suspect that SP1 has changed some core settings, but I have no idea which ones.
The graphic problem is intermittent: for instance, I can see a small graphic but when I attempt to enlarge it, I get a blank pop-up screen.
The problem with whole pages seems to come when I attempt to link from one web page to another. I will double-click on the link and, sometimes nothing happens, other times I will get directed to a blank page.
Does anyone have an idea what causes this -- and how to fix it? Thanks!
