Default Win XP Media Edition

Can anyone give me the lowdown on Windows Media Edition? Is it XP Pro with a better media player or is it better worse? Dell seem to be promoting it now on new PC's but I don't see why I would want it. Am I missing something?

Actually you don't need to activate a dell, when you reinstall windows with a dell XP cd, just like a gateway

if you had it you would use all of the features. you can't judge it when you don't have it. especially after you get the remote (20.00 on ebay)
