Win Fax XP

I am currently working on a project and I am running Windows 2000. I was wanting to make the switch over to Windows xp Pro but before I do I have to make sure that the faxing software that comes with windows xp pro does what my win 2000 faxing program does. Does anyone know if in the Windows XP fax program you are able to enable an option that will send a generic fax back to the original sender indicating that the fax has been recieved? I also have to make sure that the fax back has the amount of pages recieved by the PC. If anyone can help answer these two questions it would be much apprciated. I can't seem to find this information anywhere.
