Hi all,

Does anyone know how to clear up an error when the OS boots up? It says it's missing the vserver.vxd file.

I checked in the win.ini file for reference to it and did not find it.

I haven't had the time to check around on how to fix this. Anyone out there come across a similar problem.

Please advise...

PC Specs:
Dell PII 233 Mhz
Win 98 (4.10.1998)
RAM: very low 48 MB (I'm adding some now)
2GB HD
Video: STB Velocity 128
No sound or extras...

Thanks Bleep. I was able to get rid of the error by removing "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft networks" in the Network control panel.
I'll go back and try fixing the corrupt/missing vserver.vxd file.

Thanks for you help,
Jiminy

Open the registry editor and search for the vserver.vxd and delete the String or DWORD from there.... restart the system and you are done...
