Win 2k System Tray Printer Icon

How do I show the printer icon in my system tray when I print? I use win2k in an office network. many people at our are experiencing this problem and i am unable to figure it out.

it should show up by default. If it doesn't then its been disabled.

Open the printers folder
click file and choose server properties
click advanced and make sure the two show informational events options are checked.

Post back if that doesn't work and we can look at other options.

sorry I have xp and didn't notice your os in your post. try the bottom one and see if that works. Once you check the notify one the other notify will be available I can't read it from your screenie though what does it say?

Yes sorry about the size of the pic, 50kb limit it's hard to get it down! I ticked "log spooler information events" and it seems to be working. Thanks heaps.
