Default Will I have to reinstall the OS if I do so?

I have an old PC, and I am planning to replace
its old Motheboard by a new one.

But
I am thinking if I will have to reinstall the OS
after the replacement of the old Motherboard.

Please advise!

that would be the best way to do it. you can always try the repair function w/ xp and 2000 but that does not always work clean. I would reccomend a full format and reinstall for best performance.
