Default Will any powersupply work on my computer

hey as some of you may know i bought a 7900gt that requires a 450 watt power supply and i have a 350 watt PSU i was looking at all the PSU's on newegg.com but i was wondering if all power supplies are the same and there arent different sizes.

there not all the same, dont skimp out on it. Thats one of the most important parts you have on your pc

how do i know which one i need for my computer because my computer is also a dell computer and they made it sound like there was no difference but i knew that couldnt be true
