Wierd problems please help

I've been having a few wierd problems with windows lately. When i click the my computer on my desktop or anywhere else on my pc it takes 30 seconds to load the next page. The little file folder with the flash light animation just sits there for 30 seconds. This has never happened to me before. Also it seems all my network connections and devices have disappered from my menus. I Device manager and there is nothing there. No networks or sound cards. Nothing at all. I have windows xp pro and i think i have the latest service pack. I did a virus scan spyware check and came up with nothing. Any suggestions besides reformatting my pc?

post a hijack this! log and check your msconfig and disable everything except your av and reboot, the scan with hijack this and post here
