Hi, I have this Wierd problem my comp's had for ages!
Whenever under any O/S (I've tried Win 98, 2k, Me), when using internet explorer or playing 3d games, the computer would automatically lock-up at random times! (Mouse + Keyboard won't respond, everything on screen freezes) I dunno if this is a software or hardwre problem!
I've tried formatting and for a week, it'll run fine. But after some time, this problem would come back again. It is now so bad that I've pressed the reset botton 6 times just today online!!!
I'm currently under Windows 2k O/S. Here are my specs: ( my comp is quite old and I dont wish to buy a new one for some time)
ASUS Motherboard(sorry...dont know what model)
P III 667mhz CPU
192 SDRAM (in 2 dimms)
13GB seagate Harddrive ( has around 2 MB bad sectors on it)
16MB intergrated nVidia TNT2 Video Card
Intergrated Sound
