That would tell you if it is the mp3 player or the pc.

Hello try this::::
since every song plays fine it means that there is no problem with the software or memory somtimes its the USB head....
try this plug it SLOWLY slowly
funny ? nah ..
somtimes the usb head only connects for a sertain second where your hand is pushing in the right direction and the head is inserted to the correct depth so windows do not get enough time to recognize it and says malfunction..
worked once for me!!
if this is right you need to open your player and fix the usb pins with what ever you have
