Why don't websites format?

I'm new to Windows so there are a lot of bugs tat occur that I'm unfamiliar with. One of theseis websites not formatting such as youtube. If I go to a specific video then everything is formatted just fine, but when I go to the homepage, this is what I get:

I think the browser is blocking "insecure content" but I'm not sure how to get it to stop being so paranoid.

I went to install Shockwave and it said it doesn't come in a 64-bit version, what's up with that?

Oh I realized that if I go to the site via the top 9 sites it shows when opening a new tab, it works. But if I type in the URL it doesn't. :/ I hate when computer problems get resolved but I never find out what the source of the problem was. Oh well, it works.

Push shift-F5 to refresh
If that doesn't work clear your browser cache through something like CCleaner
