I've never heard of AVG, but I would recommend Norton AntiVirus 2003 Professional.

AVG is good. It found a Trojan that McAfee missed. Avast is good as well.

I have been using Fsecure for about 6 months now. It has been really impresive. I was never very happy with Norton and the other popular AV but didnt have an alternative. A friend of mine that is an engineer with an arospace company turned me on to Fsecure and i dont think i will use any thing else. I have installed it on around 20 computers and almost without fail it will find someting on machines where another program had been running. I really like the auto updates.........and i typically dont like any auto update features. it happens about once an hr and happens pretty unobtrusivly in the backround. biggest rpoblem i had was finding it at reasonable price.........it is pricey...................VSTK

TrendMicro is one of the best at finding viruses that
other miss. You can download a trial here.
http://www.trendmicro.com/download/p...32&show=pcprod
(You would want the second one For Trial Downloads only)

I personally use Norton's Antivirus and it seems to
be pretty good. I have had to use the Trendmicro
free online scan a few times and it seems to find
any viruses Norton's may miss.

avast is free and excellent...the virus makers usually concentrate their work on the big names, while small companies like avg or avast work silently in the background.
