whats the best video card setting for my computer

alright if u look at my signuture thats the componets of it right now. its up and running and plays all the games pretty well. but i know for a fact that im not running my video cards full potential. so i wanted to know if u can help me with the best settings for my 9800 pro or computer. im not really too worried about it looking really good, performance is more important.

i turned my windows xp pro settings to performance cause i like the classic look....and the perfomance.

oh and i dont want to overclock my proccesor or video card yet.

i also download the newest drivers for my vid card and motherboard. i believe i covered everything...if u have any questions feel free to AIM me: atomicracer2005

I have my 9800 pro set as follows and never had any problems playing any games with good fps and max details, including far cry:
the main settings for 3d and open gl are set in the center or balanced:
AA and AF are set to app preference
texture preference and mipmap are set to max
vert. sync off
true form always off.
under troubleshoot tab, fast write always off.
In my games options, I always select 2 to 4 AA and 2 to 4 AF when possible
I play all my games at 1280 x 1024 and never had any problems.
