Zonealarm licks teh gooch. The only firewall I use is a Linksys, and my built in Firewall for Linux.

'teh gooch'? LMAO!

I also use a linksys hardware firewall. If I was going to use a software firewall though, I would use Kerio. The personal edition is free and it seems to do a really nice job.

I use a linksys firewall as well. Never had any problems. I also have the Linksys Wi-Fi router in it's own collision domain, so even if someone were able to get in through this firewall, it's coupled with another D-Link 704 firewall.
I've never used a software firewall very any length of time but I've read good reviews on the one that Guy mentioned.

I hear ya can get rid of it. A friend told me it's just an extra protection thing. I also have my Net-Defense running in the background that comes with System-Suite.

Among the firewall mentioned upstairs, I have only heard of ZA.
