Question What are these???

Under my windows folder, I have about 41 files similiar to this one, they appear to be win updates, will this list just get bigger and bigger????

$NtUninstallKB900725$
about 41 with different ending numbers

1 folder like this:

$hf_mig$

and one like this:

$MSI31Uninstall_KB893803v2$

are these necessary?

Those are there just incase you want to uninstall the updates from the add/remove program on control panel.

Default add/remove?

I dont see anything like that in add/remove programs. Do I need to keep those files all 41 of them?

anything hidden in that folder with a $ sign at the begining should be ok to delete but always make a backup just in case...

In the Add/Remove there should be a check box for "Show Updates". You won't see all 41, some of those files and folder might just be duplicates. You should not delete them, even if someone says it's ok. Why do you need to get rid of them anyways?
