Pretty much, thats what the two registry keys mentioned above do, however XP will always need *some* page space on the hard drive.

This might sound like a dumb question but, where exactly will I see the performance gain after I do that "DisablePagingExecutive" registry tweak? I just want a way to measure the performance before and after the tweak to see what it did for me.

you only need 2 mb of page file on the root for dumps.
