Default what the heck is xp sp2

what the heck is xp sp2.i have heard a lot of people speak after insatlling sp2 ,and then the real story starts.then when they download windows install windows update it screws the whole system , and also some other problem have also been noticed ,like nav bein disabled after installing xp sp 2.or winserv error.etc


so geeks out there any rules on how to insatll service pack 2


expecting some quick answers

Well I wouldn't call it a service pack, I would call it another operating system. And I would look for sp2 second edition-Ha!

Long horn have too many problem right now. And those who are excited for longhorn, I hope you have a large and fast system, cuz the requirement is quit high. And sometime I think MS is out to get pirates with the fixes and updates, notice sp2 like turn on autoupdates...?

I havnt had one problem installing SP2 seperate after the installation of windows xp. i havnt had a problem installing sp2 integrated with the windows xp installation. i wrote my own guide on how to do this successfully
