My current firewall exceptions include:
ICMP - for incoming echo requests (ping)
TCP/UDP 53 - for DNS Zone Transfers
File and Printer Sharing
Microsoft Management Console
Remote Desktop
As it stands, if the firewall on the Domain Controller (Windows 2003 native forest/domain) is turned on with these exceptions, I can not add any machines to the domain. If I turn the firewall off, no problem.
What exception do I need to add to allow the addition of new machines to the domain?
