Windows Media Player has a burner and ripper. I thought that came with XP Pro. Not sure though.

I would recommend using Media Player - They just released Media Player 10.

If you simply want to copy the files (not converted to be played on a stand alone CD player) XP comes with built-in support for burning CDs.

Thanks for the info. I noticed Media Player had a burner on it now. Sometimes some of the Freeware utilities are really nice though, and wondered who used what. It would take a million years to try them all!! I'll try out some of the above suggestions. If anyone else has a favorite application, please post!
