When ever i start up the PC this pops up before i get the the main login screen

Windows - No Disk

There is no disk in the drive Please insert a disk into drive /device/hardrive/dr7 and so on

any ideas?

one of your startup programs is hungry for a cd

Start>run>msconfig

Check the startup tab and see what applications you have starting up with a windows boot. Remove the ones you dont need or want and this should help solve your issue. If not then one of the applicaitons you do want starting is asking for a windows CD for some reason.
