Ok i'm having trouble with a wireless nic card on one of our lan's.
It seems to be fine for a few days then it looses the wep key.
Any ideas?
I have updated the drivers for this card and I have tried using both the utility that came with the drivers to configure this and windows xp wireless zero config.
I have resided to the fact that I cant actually prevent this from happening thefore i'm asking if anyone knows a way of adding the information on bootup.
ie the person logs on and a prog is started which automatically enters the wep key.
Is the wep key stored in the registry? I cant seem to find it if it is.
EDIT: The wireless card is the AMD Am1772
