Default weird XP problem

hi

I have strange problem..multiple duplicates of every program on the program menu..like yahoo 1 then 2 maybe up to 10 duplicates up to 10 or so on some.

they can be laboriosly deleted one at a time..

in my control panel when i hit other options there's 3 of everything.. and those icons can't be deleted..

i think it happened at my last system restore...

can't go any father back.

Tom

you should search google for a program to check the registry and/or for dead shortcuts, etc.. It's most likely not a virus, when you restore sometimes it actually duplicates the registry (this has happened to people before) I dunno how it happens, but with microsoft, you never know.. so try a program like that, and it will see all of the errors and correct them all.
