Default Weird Problem With MVP 2004

Well I bought MVP 2004 recently and the game works fine. Except for one thing. When I go into the game and try maximizing it with either alt+tab or the windows start button, and then try maximizing the crashes. This may not seem like a huge deal but I often make threads on another message board to type up stats and things and it makes it a lot easier to do this. I can do it with Madden 2004, so I have no clue why it wont work here.

At one point in the past I had a game that did something similar to this. I was on XP Pro at the time and switched to XP Home and the problem was fixed. Not the case here.

I did email EA and they said it is a known issue. Here is what gets me though. They said it was an issue with the newer NVIDIA vid drivers. So, I tried 4-5 vid drivers going all the way back to the 42's, and still the same problem.

System Specs
Abit NF7-S
AMD Athlon XP 2500+ (OC'd to 2.10GHz)
256MB Kingston HyperX
GeForce FX 5200 128MB
