Default weird, cant open a simple mpg file

I downloaded a big movie file from limewire and its suppose to be mpg but when i open it windows media player cant find the codec for it. I tried downloading several different media players that play mpg and still no luck. Maybe its labeled wrong? I changed it to avi and it still wont work. Any ideas?

fyi it's not porno, i can see the speculations already

Try downloading and using this one.

I use it, and it works great.

De nada.

A friend told me about it. And, yes, it does rock.

This worked for me once: Start > Run> mplayer - it brings up the older version of windows media and sometimes works better than the new one.

http://packs.matroska.org/

when you install it, open the file with WMP. play the file. it will ask you "do you want WMPlayer to try to play the unrecognize file file" click yes and and check the "do not show this again". winamp can also play the file too, now

you should be able to play anything through WMP now
