Web pages

Any idea why it takes so damn long to load web pages lately? The page just sites there saying "done" at the bottom and after a bit, it loads what should be there. I think it might have something to do with my computer allowing cookies through, or security or privacy settings. Not sure though, and I don't know how to fix it.

Hi Wayniac,
Check whether your computer is loaded with spyware and adware. You can run " Search & Destroy " to remove the spyware. Also you can check out following webpage

As said, check for spyware. Whilst you're at it check for virus and check that your firewall isn't blocking the sites that you wish to look at.
