So I've installed Vista SP1. No problems, no bs.

I haven't noticed any difference at all. Not a single difference. What was SP1 supposed to be improving here? My graphics driver is still crashing and explorer will crash every now and then. Before and now with beautiful SP1.

I mean it was a free download. I was waiting with anticipation for this, now I'm gritting my teeth at Microsoft right now..

I think I'll start using Ubuntu more often. At least on Ubuntu I can find ways to fix most of the problems I run into.

you should uninstall your graphics driver...
grab all your latest drivers from the manufacturers...
update other variables like bios...
scrutinize what else you have on your machine...
those issues are not Vista or the sp1
come on...

I just reformatted my machine and all is good now.. have no idea why or how.

Installed the latest beta drivers from nvidia (the same I had before) and my drivers aren't restarting in-game anymore.
