w key is broken

So, I was playing rocket league yesterday, after I quit my w key stopped working (I can type w atm because I have it on my clipboard). Now whenever I press w it mutes my computers sound for about 1 second and then unmutes it... There must be some keybinding or something set to it, but I'm not sure how to unset it or just make it a w key again. I have tried keymapping software to no avail. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you using a laptop or a pc? Check for any loose connections, clean out the keys and try a usb keyboard.

Thanks Zaka, tried this and nothing happened so I reinstalled razer synapse and deleted any bindings and all was solved
